# Riverton Memorial Hall

> The hall has been run by the same committee since the flood repairs in 2014, and most of us have been on it the whole time. We know the building well enough to tell you straight what it can and can't do for your do.

Based in 14 Palmerston Street, Riverton.

- **Main Hall** — $25 / $35. The full hall with stage, for dances, weddings and anything that needs the floor cleared
- **Supper Room** — $15 / $20. Off the kitchen, good for afternoon teas and committee lunches
- **Meeting Room** — $10 / $15. Small carpeted room at the front, holds a long table and not much else

## Licences and memberships

- **Tables and chairs** Trestle tables and stacking chairs for the booked capacity, already in the store room next to the stage
- **Zip** Wall-mounted zip in the kitchen for tea and coffee, no extra charge
- **Dishwasher** Commercial dishwasher in the kitchen, you supply your own detergent
- **Oven** Full-size electric oven and four hob rings, cleaned before you arrive and expected the same after
- **PA** Two speakers and a lectern mic, plug your own device in through the cable by the stage

## What we treat

- **Bond** $200, refunded within a week if the hall is left clean and nothing's broken
- **Curfew** Music off and guests out by midnight, hall locked by 12.30am

## About

The hall's owned by the Riverton Hall Society, a bunch of locals who took it on when the council wanted shot of it. Bookings go through whoever's got the diary that month, usually me, and I'll ring you back within a day or two.
